Mixmaster V1000
Batch mixer for rubber granules and binder
The Mixmaster V1000 is a vertical-axis batch mixer designed primarily for mixing rubber granules with polyurethane binders to produce resilient surfacing materials for sports and playgrounds. Its capacity of 500 litres gives ample ullage for mixing up six bags of rubber granules.
The main feature of the Mixmaster V1000 is the vertical axis of the galvanised steel mixing drum, from which the complete rotor with its drive can be quickly removed. There is no lower bearing so the interior of the drum is left completely clear for cleaning.
Operators can easily clean inside it, or the whole drum can be filled with solvent and left overnight or a weekend. Due to this totally fluid tight drum the Mixmaster can also be used to mix viscous liquid spray coatings and slurries.
